We are delighted to present a new online exhibition of recent ceramic works by Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl.
This presentation coincides with the major solo show Cuts, Stripes and Knots, A Ceramic Retrospective, now open at CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art, Denmark, and the launch of a new monograph Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl: Probing the Floor, Shifting the Air, published by Hatje Cantz Verlag, Berlin.
Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl's retrospective at CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art features 140 selected works from 1990–2024 and runs from 7 September 2024 to 16 March 2025.
On the occasion of the exhibition a new monograph Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl: Probing the Floor, Shifting the Air has been published by Hatje Cantz Verlag, Berlin, and is available to purchase from Hatje Cantz Verlag (Germany) and CLAY Museum (Denmark).
Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl (b.1954, Denmark) studied at The Royal College of Art (1988-90) and lives and works in Copenhagen. He is currently associate professor emeritus at the Royal Academy, Copenhagen, where he previously held the post of Head of Department in Ceramics and Glass.
Examples of his work are represented in several public and private collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; The Danish Museum of Art & Design, Copenhagen; The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo and Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Paris.
